On Saturday, October 4th from 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Community Recreation Center, come and make a selection of over 30 crafts including beads, painting, wood projects, fabric art, clay, sand and foam projects, food art and more that can be enjoyed by youth and adults alike. A different project will be set up on a number of tables.  Projects will cost between 1 – 10 tokens each.  Tokens cost $.25 each.  Select the projects you like and make and take them home. Take home instruction sheets are provided for each project and a discount coupon for Clifton A.C. Moore will be issued to each guest. We are searching for all arts and crafts fanatics to help by volunteering at each table. Co-sponsored by A.C. Moore.

This Citywide event will be conducted on Sunday, October 26th (no rain date).  The PARADE, led by the Mustang Marching Band in full costume, begins at 12:45 p.m. at Lakeview Avenue and East 4^th Street and will proceed down Lakeview Avenue to Piaget Avenue and end at Nash Park, where the costume judging will take place. All individuals wishing to participate in the parade and costume contest must be at the following corners of Lakeview Avenue by 12:15 p.m.  Participants must be registered before the parade begins.  Registration will not be accepted at Nash Park. Pre-register at City Hall Recreation Department beginning October 3rd and receive a gift bag.  For more information contact the Recreation Department at (973) 470-5956.

The HARVESTFEST will be conducted at Nash Park from 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.  While prizes/awards for the Halloween Parade Costume Contest are being distributed, enjoy the fun festivities available for the whole family.  Test your baking skills and enter the 11^th Annual Apple-Pie Baking Contest, take a journey on our Hayride, paint a pumpkin or visit the petting zoo as you explore the many carnival booths, rides and food concessions.  Games and rides range in price from $.25 – $1.00.  You may pre-purchase $5.00 bags of tokens at the Recreation Department starting October 3rd.  Green tokens are for rides & petting zoo only. There are no refunds on tokens; however, tokens do not expire and can be used the following year.  For every $5.00 bag of pre-purchased tokens, you will receive five additional tokens.
